(Video) Martial artist Joshua Iyalla claims to be the world’s fastest puncher after breaking three Guinness World Records for full-extension punches, including 453 punches in 60 seconds

Joshua Iyalla has officially claimed the title of the world’s fastest puncher after breaking not one, but three Guinness World Records for full-extension punches.

In an impressive display of speed and endurance, the dedicated martial artist delivered 453 punches in just 60 seconds, averaging an astonishing 7.5 punches per second. He also set records for 374 punches while wearing boxing gloves and 333 punches while holding 1 kg weights—all within the same one-minute timeframe.

“Appreciate the love! Thank you for reposting my vid ❤️,” Iyalla commented on a social media repost of his record-breaking performance, which has since gone viral and garnered thousands of likes and comments.

What makes Iyalla’s achievement even more remarkable is the dedication behind it. He trained rigorously for an entire year to reach this level of performance. Interestingly, he credits artificial intelligence for helping design his training regimen, specifically mentioning ChatGPT as a tool that assisted in developing his record-breaking program.

The video of his accomplishment shows Iyalla delivering rapid-fire punches at a punching bag with machine-like precision, maintaining his speed throughout the full 60 seconds. His form demonstrates the full extension required by Guinness World Records for official recognition.

While some social media users humorously commented on the contrast between speed and power—with one popular comment noting “100% speed 0% damage”—others were quick to defend the achievement, pointing out that the purpose was specifically to break a speed record, not demonstrate striking power.

“If you think about it, getting up to that speed is nuts. And sustained for a min,” wrote one impressed viewer.

The martial artist’s accomplishment has earned him worldwide recognition and places him in the Guinness record books for what may be the fastest hands in martial arts today.
