Combat sports legend Mark Hunt has revealed he’s in preliminary discussions to become a part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the rapidly growing combat sports organization that has been making waves in the industry.
Hunt, who has been speaking with his good friend Gabriel, expressed interest in joining BKFC as a silent partner. “I was going to be a silent partner in this whole scenario,” Hunt stated, indicating that talks are still in their early stages.
The potential partnership comes at a time when BKFC is experiencing significant growth, recently selling out the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia with 177,000 attendees. The organization is now expanding into Australia and has secured notable names in combat sports.
At 51 years old, Hunt isn’t just looking at ownership – he’s considering stepping into the BKFC ring himself. “For Mark The Narrative is to walk out in that stadium… even though I’ll be 51 it would be something amazing for me,” he shared.
Hunt, who describes himself as a “modern day glad[iator],” sees this potential partnership as more than just a business venture. It represents an opportunity to conclude his illustrious fighting career while becoming part of the organization’s ownership structure.
The addition of Hunt as a part owner would be a significant boost for BKFC as they continue their global expansion and solidify their position in the combat sports landscape.
