A newly surfaced video call from 2022 has sparked controversy as it shows Devin Haney’s wife, Leena Sayed, expressing deep emotional feelings for incarcerated rapper Young Thug.
The 15-minute clip, which recently went viral on social media platforms, captures an intimate conversation between Sayed and Young Thug. During the emotional exchange, Sayed can be seen breaking down in tears while professing her feelings for the rapper.
“I don’t like anyone…I want you,” Sayed said during the tearful conversation. The footage shows Young Thug appearing visibly affected, turning away from the camera and wiping his face.
In response to the widespread circulation of the clip, Sayed took to Instagram to address the situation. “That video was before I met my bd… I would never talk to Thug or any other man,” she wrote in her story.
Young Thug also responded to the controversy on X, formerly Twitter, stating: “Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious sh*t, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no fu*k bout no ho*s or nig*as I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Never have never will lol.”
The rapper further clarified his stance in another post, referencing his relationship with R&B singer Mariah the Scientist: “I can have that lil sh*t right now if I wanted it, but she been pushing the p harder then nig*as lol that’s the twin… I got who I want.”
The revelation comes at a challenging time for Devin Haney, who has recently faced setbacks in his professional career. The former super lightweight champion has been dealing with public scrutiny following his bout with Ryan Garcia, which was later overturned due to Garcia’s positive PED test.
Haney and Sayed, who are expecting a baby, have typically maintained a picture-perfect relationship on social media. The couple has not made any joint statements regarding the viral video as of now.
