(Video) Steven Seagal can’t think of ANY Hollywood tough guys That are ‘Legit’

In a funny interview that has sparked widespread discussion on social media, action movie star Steven Seagal shared his controversial opinions about other martial arts movie actors, leading to significant backlash from fans and industry professionals alike.

Jean-Claude Van Damme, who boasts an impressive competitive record of 18 victories (all by knockout) and one defeat in Belgian full-contact championships between 1977 and 1982, was among those mentioned by Seagal.

The social media response has been overwhelming, with many coming to the defense of martial artists like Michael Jai White, who holds seven legitimate black belts in various disciplines including Kyokushin Karate, Goju-Ryu Karate, Shotokan Karate, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Kobudo, and Wushu.

Industry veteran Gene LeBell’s legendary encounter with Seagal at a training session remains a frequently cited incident among martial arts enthusiasts. Meanwhile, noted action stars like Chuck Norris, who at 84 years old still commands tremendous respect in the martial arts community, continue to maintain their esteemed reputations.

Stallone recently shared an anecdote from a gathering at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s residence during the peak of the action movie era in the 80s and early 90s, revealing that Van Damme had actively sought to engage with Seagal, who reportedly left the premises.

The discourse has also highlighted that there are other respected Hollywood veterans like Charles Bronson, who flew over 20 bombing missions over Europe in World War II;  LOTR’s Chirstopher Lee served in the Royal Air Force as an intelligence officer, attached to the No. 260 Squadron RAF during World War II as a liaison officer for the Special Operations Executive and Charles Durning, who survived D-Day and is recognized as one of the most decorated actors in Hollywood history.
