Boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya and his girlfriend, Holly Sonders, found themselves at the center of a social media frenzy after sharing a questionable video of them dancing together. The iconic duo left little to the imagination as they showcased their moves in a now-deleted Instagram post.
The video, which quickly went viral, showed the couple dancing playfully, with Holly dressed in a pink bikini and De La Hoya wearing a very small set of pants. Fans were quick to react, flooding the post with thousands of comments.
However, the celebration was short-lived as De La Hoya revealed that the post had been taken down by Instagram, citing his “haters” as the culprit. In a separate Instagram post, the 51-year-old expressed his frustration, stating, “I just got taken down. My last post was all in good fun, and haters reported it. They hate seeing me happy.”
Sonders, a former Golf Channel and Fox Sports presenter, also weighed in on the matter, hinting that the couple would be back with more content like the viral video. “We both posted a video an hour ago. It got taken down on both of our accounts due to lames reporting it,” she wrote. “Oscar’s had 6,000 comments in 30 minutes. I guess some people really hate to see us have fun. The good news… we will be back with more.”
The couple’s relationship has been a topic of interest since they began dating in 2021. De La Hoya and Sonders have often graced the red carpet together, and Sonders has since launched the Exposed Sportz League, where OF stars and models compete in very little clothing, with Sonders herself taking on the role of a referee.
