Mike Tyson’s last opponent claims Tyson bit his nipple and cautions Jake Paul

Kevin McBride, the last opponent to face the legendary Mike Tyson, has issued a stern warning to Jake Paul ahead of their highly anticipated bout. McBride, who defeated Tyson in a technical knockout in 2005, recounted his harrowing experience of being in the ring with the former heavyweight champion.

“When Tyson hit me, I swear I saw Leprechauns playing drums in my head,” McBride recalled. “So, I got hold of him in a headlock and whispered to him, ‘Is that all you got?’ and he went crazy. He bit my nipple so hard, it was the most excruciating pain that I ever felt in my life. As he pulled away, his mouthpiece fell out, and I thought, ‘Thank god he had his mouthpiece in.’ If he didn’t have that mouthpiece in, I’d be forever known as the Irish heavyweight with one nipple.”

McBride’s vivid description of the encounter paints a concerning picture for Paul, who is set to face the formidable Tyson in November. The Irish boxer has offered some advice to the younger fighter, urging him to be cautious.

“I’d warn Jake Paul to make sure Mike doesn’t spit his mouthpiece out, because if he does, you never know what’s going to happen,” McBride cautioned.

The warning from Tyson’s last opponent serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that await Paul in the ring. Tyson’s reputation as a fierce competitor and his willingness to employ unconventional tactics have left a lasting impression on those who have faced him.

Tyson’s last professional bout was a defeat to Ireland’s Kevin McBride in June 2005, but the boxing legend made a successful return to the ring in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. Now, as he gears up to take on the 9-1 fighter Jake Paul, fans are eagerly anticipating Tyson’s comeback and the potential fireworks that may unfold.
