Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya took a journalist by surprise during a recent promotional appearance in Perth, Australia. The incident occurred ahead of UFC 305, which is set to take place in the city.
During the media event, a reporter made a bold request . “If I can, if I can take a hit from you. A hit? Yeah, you can kick me in the head as hard as you want,” the journalist said, to which Adesanya responded, “You sure?”
Reporter added: “Yeah, but I’m going to close my eyes, is that alright? Alright, no worries.”
Footage of the encounter shows Adesanya taking a few steps back, before delivering a kiss to the side of the head the unsuspecting reporter reeling. “Oh, stung like a bee,” the journalist exclaimed, clearly stunned by the impact of the strike.
Adesanya, known for his charismatic personality and exceptional striking skills, seemed to relish the opportunity to prank the reporter.
Adesanya is one of the most dominant fighters in the UFC. And it will be fascinating to see him work out the beef with current Middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis.
