YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul failed a lie detector test when his big brother, Logan, asked if he thinks he’ll actually prevail against Mike Tyson in their highly anticipated November bout.
Despite the additional preparation time due to Tyson’s ulcer flare-up during a flight in May, causing the card to be rescheduled, Jake Paul doesn’t seem overly confident about sending his 57-year-old opponent to the canvas.
During a lie detector test on Logan’s YouTube channel, the big question was posed: does Jake actually think he has a shot at beating Mike Tyson? Although Jake answered “yes,” the lie detector determined his response to be false, leaving Logan visibly shocked.
“I’m nervous,” Jake admitted with a nervous laugh. “It’s gonna be tough.”
However, in typical Jake Paul fashion, he swiftly shifted gears and plugged his new line of men’s hygiene products, completely derailing the rest of the video.
The lie detector test also revealed that Jake was dishonest when he claimed that his brother’s higher social media following didn’t bother him. “You’re the older brother,” Jake said. “You’re supposed to have more.”
As concern mounts about the potential cancellation of the fight, Jake Paul has received a lineup of alternative opponents willing to step into the ring, including his own brother and his long-term rival KSI, who recently extended a “final” offer to face off in May 2025, valued at approximately $500,000.
Later in the video, Logan Paul put his brother Jake through a true test, directly asking if he’s using PEDs ahead of his upcoming card with Mike Tyson. Jake, who has recently displayed a more muscular physique, sparked rumors among MMA fans.
Logan addressed these speculations head-on by asking, “Are you on PEDs?” Jake, momentarily surprised, deflected with a joke before firmly denying the use of PEDs.
