(Video) UFC champ Alex Pereira visits Children’s Hospital in Australia, Gives Cancer stricken kid a haircut

In a heartwarming display of kindness, UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira recently visited a children’s cancer hospital, spending time with young patients and brightening their day.

During his visit, Pereira met a young Muay Thai practitioner who had to stop training due to their cancer diagnosis. In a touching gesture, the Brazilian gave this child a haircut, providing a small moment of joy amidst their difficult circumstances.

“We have moments of joy and sadness,” Pereira shared about the experience. “This moment was very difficult for me to visit the cancer hospital and see this boy who trained Muay Thai but was prevented from continuing due to cancer.”

Despite the solemn reason for the visit, Pereira’s kind actions and interaction with the children likely provided some relief and positive memories for the young patients courageously battling their illnesses.

This act of compassion showcases the caring side of the fearsome UFC champion, who continues to make a positive impact both inside and outside the octagon.

Earlier this week,  Alex Pereira sparred with heavyweight contender Tai Tuivasa during a visit to Sydney, Australia, showcasing his striking skills against one of the hardest-hitting stars on the UFC roster.

The sparring session, which was shared on social media, demonstrated Pereira’s formidable striking power and his aspirations to compete in the heavyweight division in the future. In addition to sparring,

Pereira and Tuivasa engaged in some light-hearted antics, with Pereira cutting Tuivasa’s hair as a prank. Although Pereira declined to participate in Tuivasa’s signature “Shoey” tradition, his coach, Plinio Cruz, stepped in to complete the ritual.
