In a startling new exposé by Rolling Stone, Kid Rock’s erratic behavior during an interview has come to light. The piece by David Peisner recounts a tumultuous encounter with the country rapper in Nashville.
Peisner’s interview with Kid Rock started with a dive into heavy topics, including immigration and the artist’s right-wing persona. But as the conversation progressed and Kid Rock’s alcohol consumption increased, tensions escalated. Peisner described a particularly alarming moment when Kid Rock brought out a black handgun, waving it inches from the reporter’s face to make a point.
“And I got a f****** goddamn gun right here if I need it!” Kid Rock allegedly shouted, asserting his readiness to use it. Known for his close ties with Donald Trump Jr., Kid Rock emphasized his access to firearms. He stated: “I got them everywhere!”
Throughout the interview, Kid Rock allegedly used the N-word multiple times. He also claimed that Republicans were the ones who “freed the slaves.”
His behavior grew increasingly hostile as he repeatedly prevented Peisner from leaving the studio. At one point, he even challenged Peisner to a physical fight. “Do you think you could whup the sh** out of me?” he allegedly taunted.
Peisner then responded, “Probably not.”
The Rolling Stone article traces Kid Rock’s journey from a privileged upbringing in the suburbs of Detroit to his current status as a controversial libertarian figure. Raised in a lavish home with a conservative father, Kid Rock initially opposed GOP stances on issues like gay marriage and abortion. But over time, he fully embraced right-wing politics and became a vocal supporter of Donald Trump.
During the interview, Kid Rock wore a “This Bud’s For You” hat. This was in reference to a previous incident where he shot up a case of Bud Light in protest against the brand’s support of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Kid Rock has now set his sights on Planet Fitness, a gym chain criticized by right-wing groups for its transgender-inclusive policies. This follows a 2023 incident where a man allegedly exposed himself in a women’s locker room, prompting conservative calls for a boycott.
A significant portion of the interview focused on Kid Rock’s unwavering support for Donald Trump, whom he referred to as his ‘bestie.’
He stated: “You think I like Trump because he’s a nice guy?. I’m not electing the deacon of a church. That motherf***** likes to win. He likes to cheat in his f****** golf game. I want that guy on my team. I want the guy who goes, ‘I’m going to fight with you.'”
Peisner accompanied Kid Rock on a concert date for the Rock the Country tour, witnessing the artist’s inflammatory rhetoric firsthand. On stage, Kid Rock railed against “open borders, high taxes.”
He also boldly declared: “Joe Biden can kiss my motherf****** Anglo-Saxon a*s.”
