UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Murphy delivered an unexpected turn of events during the match between Ariane Carnelossi and Piera Rodriguez. Held at the Apex facility in Las Vegas, the night’s first finish was anything but ordinary.

In the second round, Piera Rodriguez executed a great front kick that left Ariane Carnelossi reeling on the canvas. Seizing the opportunity, Rodriguez pounced in order to secure a knockout.

But in her aggressive pursuit, Rodriguez unintentionally committed a critical error. She landed a headbutt on Carnelossi, prompting an immediate warning from the referee.

Bruce Buffer then announced the official decision. Ariane Carnelossi was declared the winner by disqualification due to the illegal headbutts from Piera Rodriguez.
