Former ONE FC Fighter Arrested For Vehicular Assault & 6 Other Charges

Former ONE FC fighter Roman “Sonic Boom” Alvarez was arrested this weekend after attempting to assault a man with a vehicle  in Tumon, Guam.

According to the Post Guam  Alvarez was arrested under suspicion of aggravated assault as a third-degree felony, reckless driving, driving while impaired, driving impaired causing bodily injury by forbidden act or thru neglect, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and resisting arrest as a misdemeanor.

According to an eye-witnesses on the scene, the victim of the assault was found bleeding and unconscious after being hit by Alvarez’ vehicle.

However the victim regained consciousness once the medics took him to the ambulance.

Alvarez is being held by the local police and is expected to respond for the criminal charges this monday.

Roman “Sonic Boom” Alvarez is a professional MMA fighter. He holds a 6-3 record with two fightsand two losses for the Japanese organization.

Roman’s last fight was back in 2019 when he lost to Rui Chen via TKO at ONE FC, he hasn’t fought since.
