Jake Paul Sets Deadline For Conor McGregor Fight

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been wanting to fight the infamous UFC fighter Conor McGregor in a crossover fight. For the 24 year old facing the Irish man would mean opening up to a whole new audience. McGregor might be on a bit of tough streak in his fighting career however he is the wealthiest athlete in 2021 having earned an estimated $180 million.

Jake Paul has been yearning to fight The Notorious for a couple years now. However, the 24-year-old does not rush it and planned to fight McGregor in his 10th boxing fight. So far, Jake Paul has fought 5 times and has won all the fights. Though his victories are widely considered controversial.

In a talk with boxing legend, Mike Tyson, Jake revealed his plan for a big show with McGregor.

“I’m going to fight Conor McGregor in five fights, it’s gonna happen. I’m going to fight McGregor for sure. He is a b*tch,” said Jake Paul to Iron Mike.

The Problem Child also mentioned that McGregor ducked him in the past. Now, Jake will make sure their fight won’t get postponed any further.

“He’s already ducking me, I’m going to beat McGregor in five fights just exactly like you said. Five fights from now. What’s up?” Jake Paul added.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, the controversial troublemaker said he’s got a “real as f–k” $50 million offer that is being presented to McGregor’s camp.

“[Conor] looked at my DM on Instagram,” Paul said of his invitation to the former UFC superstar. “But, we’re talking to his team.”

As for McGregor, he has fought in a crossover fight one time against the five-weight world champion boxer, Floyd Mayweather in 2017. Currently, the Irish star is still in recovery after Dustin Poirier broke his leg in June last year. He is planning to return to the octagon in May or June this year.

McGregor is rumored to have 2 fights left on his contract with the UFC – however considering that he is likely to comeback in a lightweight title fight it’s very likely his contract would auto extend.
