Joe Rogan Suspects LeBron James Is Using Peptides And/Or Hormone Therapies

Joe Rogan believes LeBron James’s incredible longevity in professional basketball is difficult to explain without considering the extraordinary lengths he goes to maintain his body.

During Joe Rogan Experience #2568 in a conversation with endurance athlete Ross, the two discussed athletes who continue performing at an elite level as they get older. James’s approach to recovery becoming a major talking point.

Edgley brought up the Los Angeles Lakers superstar while comparing the longevity of elite athletes across different sports, including soccer legend Lionel Messi.

“LeBron makes no sense,” Edgley said, expressing his amazement at how James has continued competing at the highest level well into his 40s.

Rogan attributed much of James’s longevity to his meticulous approach to rehabilitation, pointing to the amount of time and money the NBA veteran reportedly invests in recovering from the physical demands of professional basketball.

“LeBron is meticulous in his rehabilitation. Meticulous. He spends an incredible amount of time, like famously spends millions of dollars just on rehabilitating his body every year,” Rogan said.

The conversation then shifted from conventional recovery methods to the possibility of athletes using peptides and other treatments to help their bodies withstand the demands of competition.

Rogan acknowledged that he was unsure about the NBA’s rules regarding these substances but speculated that James might be using them.

“On massage and all different therapies and I mean, he’s doing everything. And I’m sure, I don’t know what the rules are in the NBA with peptides and all that other jazz, but I’m sure he’s on all that stuff too, right? I mean, if he’s not, I’d be surprised,” Rogan said.

He subsequently named specific peptides and hormones that he believes could be relevant to an athlete trying to extend his career. Rogan brought up BPC-157 and TB-500 before turning to testosterone and human growth hormone.

“Why wouldn’t you be on BPC-157 and TB-500? And if you’re allowed to be, you should definitely be on testosterone and definitely be on some sort of human growth hormone, either something that pumps it up like sermorelin which naturally makes your body produce more testosterone or more human growth hormone, something that allows his body to regenerate tissue and heal quicker,” Rogan said.
