UFC President Dana White has hinted at another extraordinary event in the works, one that could rival the spectacle of the recent UFC White House card. Speaking ahead of UFC 339 in Philadelphia, White revealed that his head of production, Craig Borsari, has pitched an ambitious new concept that has captured his attention.
“There will never be anything like the White House ever again,” White said. “That night, we already had high expectations for it and I was blown away. It’s the greatest thing that I’ve ever been a part of. Being there live was amazing.”
The UFC White House event clearly set a new benchmark for the promotion, leaving White impressed by what his production team accomplished. Now, buoyed by that success, Borsari has approached White with another creative proposal.
“My head of production, Craig Borsari, is so cocky after he absolutely destroyed that event,” White explained. “We are talking about something right now that he came up with. This was his idea and I love it.”
While White remained tight-lipped about specific details, he indicated that the project is still in its early stages and requires additional planning before moving forward. However, his enthusiasm for the concept was evident, and he promised to make an exclusive announcement when the time comes.
“I have to do some more groundwork on it and if I end up doing this, I’ll announce it here first,” White told the interviewer.
The UFC president’s comments come as the promotion prepares for a significant weekend in Philadelphia, where Islam Makhachev defends his lightweight title against Ian Machado Garry at UFC 339.
White is also balancing multiple ventures, including the expansion of Zuffa Boxing, which has taken him around the world. The promotion is gearing up for a major boxing card featuring Ryan Garcia versus Conor Benn in Las Vegas on Mexican Independence Day weekend, with tickets nearly sold out.
