A nightclub in Quanzhou, China has completely reimagined the entertainment experience by transforming its dance floor into a boxing ring. TG Ultra, also known as 天宫酒吧, has become the talk of the town for swapping traditional dance performances with live kickboxing matches that take place right in the center of the venue.
The concept began with the club’s own employees, who are actively encouraged to participate in matches against their colleagues for cash bonuses. What started as workplace competition has evolved into something resembling office politics meets competitive martial arts, with staff members settling their differences through sanctioned matches.
The atmosphere remains lighthearted, however, with organizers emphasizing that safety is paramount and participants don’t sustain injuries. The club has experimented with creative matchups, including unconventional three-versus-one scenarios featuring female competitors against male opponents, all designed for entertainment value rather than serious competition.

TG Ultra recently elevated its concept with an ambitious “Hundred-Person Kickboxing Tournament” that caught widespread attention across social media platforms. The tournament boasts an impressive 100,000 RMB prize pool, with the champion taking home 50,000 RMB split between 30,000 in cash and 20,000 worth of additional rewards.
The matches adhere to international AIBA standards, specifically in the 75-kilogram middleweight division, welcoming both amateur and professional competitors. To attract talent from across the region, the club provides a 2,000 RMB stipend to cover travel and accommodation expenses for out-of-town participants.
The concept has generated significant buzz online, with observers debating whether they would participate in such competitions or simply enjoy the spectacle as part of their evening entertainment.
