Zuckerberg claims Elon Musk ‘Isn’t serious’ about their challenge: ‘It’s time to move on’

In a recent announcement, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg provided insights into his anticipated clash with Elon Musk. However, the prospects of this showdown becoming a reality seem to be dwindling.

Zuckerberg’s dedication to training and his participation in jiu-jitsu tournaments have showcased his commitment to the sport. Also, Zuckerberg’s company recently developed an app to rival Twitter, which prompted Musk to extend an unconventional proposition – a cage match.

Musk wrote on Twitter, saying: “I’m up for a cage match if he is, lol” In response, Zuckerberg playfully quipped: “Send location.”

This was the major inspiration for their concept for a bout. Ever since then, both they and MMA fans have ran with it.

But recently, Mark Zuckerberg has not been very happy about Musk not being serious about the match. He wrote: “I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead.”

Expressing his firm position, he stated: “If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”

While the initial fervor around the Zuckerberg-Musk clash was fueled by their exchanges and shared enthusiasm for combat sports, it’s evident that the event’s realization remains uncertain.

With these statements, it appears that the highly anticipated Zuck vs Musk confrontation might not transpire after all. Musk envisions a grand spectacle within the Colosseum, while Zuckerberg’s outlook is more pragmatic. He envisages the potential showdown taking place within the confines of a UFC octagon, a setting far more aligned with the realms of reality.
