Wisconsin MMA Fighter Under Investigation For Violent Conduct

An MMA fighter from Wisconsin is currently under investigations.

Frank Schuman has been competing in mixed martial arts since 2010. He has a record of 6-3 as an amateur before he made his professional debut in 2014.

He has a professional record of 11-6. The bulk of his fights took place for the California-based MMA company King of the Cage.

Schuman’s most recent fight was against Eric Wisely at Caged Aggression 27 in 2020. He was stopped in the second round by strikes.

But Schuman has an even bigger problem on his plate considering he’s under investigation for the behavior he allegedly exhibited toward a woman.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office named Frank Schuman as having committed acts of aggression against women. At this moment, no information about the number of violent actions or the number of women involved has been released.

The Wisconsin native was previously convicted of three charges of domestic assault on his ex-wife and sentenced to eight months in prison. “These are full-blown instances of battery,” said the judge during his previous sentencing.

One particularly problematic charge was of jamming an AR-15 into his ex-wife’s eye socket and making threats on her life. His ex wife then spoke at the hearing stating:

“Frank is a serial abuser of women and children. I will never be the same. Frank has caused me irreparable harm. I can still feel what he did to me, hear the hate in his words.”

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Justice are among the law enforcement agencies in northern Wisconsin working to gather information on Schuman’s role in the alleged event(s).

Wisconsin authorities have asked anybody with knowledge of Schuman or any of the violent acts to contact them as soon as possible.
