(Video) When pro boxer Shakur Stevenson was forced to use his striking skills in the real world

Combat sports athletes can sometimes be seen using their skills in public places.

A video of pro boxer Shakur Stevenson went viral on social media. In the video Stevenson showcases his skills after a dispute at a parking garage near Miami Beach.

In the video, we can see Stevenson throwing punches at an unknown man in a white shirt, as reported by Andy Slater, a host for 640 The Hurricane.

Shakur Stevenson’s claim to fame is a silver medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics. Stevenson was not alone, he was with another boxer, David Grayton. Grayton was engulfed in a conflict with two women at the time.

The altercation was reportedly instigated by Comments Stevenson and Grayton had made to a group in the car garage.

“They said the males were attempting to talk to them and make sexual innuendoes towards them. The victims told the males to stop speaking to them,” the police report stated according to WSVN.

Stevenson and his friend left the garage before the cops arrived.

But, police found them at a hotel in South Beach and charged them with misdemeanor battery. Stevenson was there to celebrate his birthday but the police intervention derailed the party.

Shakur Stevenson is the current WBC, WBO, and The Ring super featherweight champion.

Shakur also won two Olympic gold medals. He is undefeated in professional boxing, with 18 wins in his career.

He is currently scheduled to face Brazilian boxer Robson Conceição on September 23 and would defend the WBC super featherweight title.
