(Video) When Jorge Masvidal claimed Logan Paul could easily beat Paddy Pimblett in MMA

In an episode of the Impaulsive podcast, Jorge Masvidal discussed a potential UFC clash between Paddy Pimblett and Logan Paul.

Masvidal predicted that Logan Paul will defeat Pimblett in an MMA match.

When co-host Mike Majlak questioned Jorge Masvidal about Paddy Pimblett, Masvidal said that he considered the Liverpudlian to be entertaining.

Masvidal, in reference to Pimblett’s present skill set, stated that he does not believe Paddy is at a world championship level.

When asked if Logan Paul would defeat Paddy Pimblett in an MMA match, Jorge Masvidal responded as follows:

“Yeah [I think Logan Paul beats Paddy Pimblett in MMA]. F**k yeah! He [Logan Paul] has the wrestling, bro. English people can’t wrestle, bro.”

Majlak then questioned Masvidal about top bantamweight challenger Sean O’Malley. Masvidal responded as follows:

“I think he’s good. [He’s a] great athlete. I did see him when he fought [Marlon] ‘Chito’ Vera, which is another guy I love a lot – a good friend of mine. He got hurt, and then he couldn’t continue, right? So, going forth – is he a little fragile or something? Not like mentally, maybe, but physically – is he not as sturdy as everybody else? That’s something [that] you got to wonder [about] right?”

Jorge Masvidal has had a long and successful career in the UFC. The Cuban-American has 51 professional outings under his belt. He has a 12-9 promotional record, and a 35-16 overall MMA record.

Masvidal hasn’t competed since losing to Colby Covington at UFC 272. In the match, Covington outwrestled Masvidal to win by unanimous decision. The altercation continued outside a steakhouse in Miami Beach a few weeks later. Masvidal was accused of assaulting Colby Covington.

It’s believed that despite a losing streak Masvidal has a chance to be the backup for the Welterweight title rematch between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards rumored to be happening in March at the O2 arena in London.
