(Video) What the heck ref? Model turned boxer KOed yet ref lets bout continue

Fitness influencer Whitney Johns stepped into the ring to take on social media sensation 6ar6ie6 in what was to be an unforgettable boxing match. The opening round of the Kingpyn’s High Stakes tournament at the Wembley Arena saw both women battling it out in the center of the ring.

6ar6ie6 had a significant size advantage over Johns and landed some hard punches early on, leaving Johns struggling to cope with her opponent’s onslaught. As the action progressed, the lack of experience on both sides became apparent as their energy levels began to wane towards the end of the opening round.

Despite falling behind on the scorecards, Johns found a second wind in the third stanza and was able to respond to advice from her spouse and coach, UFC veteran Chris Camozzi. However, 6ar6ie6 made a strong comeback in the fourth round, dropping Johns with a massive uppercut and right hand in the final seconds.

Johns appeared to be out of it, but the referee allowed her to continue, and she made it to the final bell in the fifth round. The judges, however, scored the bout 50-45, 50-44, and 50-44 in favor of 6ar6ie6, who will now face Emily Brooke in the next round.

In a ring interview, 6ar6ie6 expressed her confidence in her abilities, saying, “I thought I had her knocked out! I thought I did it, but I didn’t do it. Everyone doubted me, I said I could do it.” Johns, on the other hand, will be taking on Amber O’Donnell in her next.

The Kingpyn’s High Stakes tournament saw many other exciting bouts, including Jully Poca’s victory over Daniella Hemsley and King Kenny’s win over My Mate Nate. Meanwhile, Emily Brooke enjoyed a winning debut, outpointing fellow newcomer O’Donnell over five rounds.
