(Video) Usyk displays scary reflexes with incredible coin trick

Oleksandr Usyk impressed fans with a spectacular coin trick during the media day. The heavyweight boxing champion showed incredible hand reflexes as he prepares for a rematch with Anthony Joshua.

Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in September of last year and won the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles. After becoming the unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk decided to put his career as a professional boxer on hold in order to defend his country. The Ukrainian boxer returned to his home country to join the Kyiv Territorial Defense.

Now, the 35-year-old is ready to compete again in the squared circle. He is slated to box his old rival Anthony Joshua on August 20. The pair will exchange blows at The Jewel stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Usyk recently attended the Usyk vs Joshua open workouts during which he surprised many fans with a stunning coin trick.

Previously, he declined to do the usual pad work in the center of the stadium. Instead, he opted to shadowbox for a bit before pulling out his coins.

The trick was quite simple, he put a coin in his back hand, threw it, and then caught it. However, he continued adding more coins which needed a fast hand and it was pretty impressive. He added up to four coins on his back hand and with incredible reflexes, he successfully caught them all.

Meanwhile, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn wants his boxer to not play the long game. He expected Joshua to finish Usyk within six rounds.

“Part of this weight increase, if there is one, is about not being out-muscle. I don’t think he wants to be put on the back foot and put under pressure. He’s thinking he doesn’t want to be backed up to the ropes against this monster, I genuinely think that could be a tactic. This week is desperation to win (for us); it’s smash-and-grab, go in there and steamroll this man, get all the belts and we’ll jump around like clowns.” Hearn said.
