(Video) UFC’s Tyson Pedro pranks Laura Sanko leaving her speechless

UFC’s Tyson Pedro returned to action back in April of 2022 after a four year lay off. Pedro tore his ACL during the Mauricio Rua match up in December of 2018. What followed were 3 surgeries but he stayed mentally strong and was eventually able to launch a comeback.

Pedro is now on a two win streak having faced Isaac Villanueva and Harry Hunsucker in April and August of this year.

And he’s not quite ready for a break just yet. He’s currently booked to face Mingyang Zhang at UFC 284 in Perth, Australia.

Pedro is a native of Australia and is a relative of Tai Tuivasa – as such the customary shoey gets brought up repeatedly.

Tuivasa won the hearts of many fans with his performances in the last two years.

UFC commentator and reporter Laura Sanko recently interviewed Pedro and posed an interesting question.

“I am not a half assed punk b*tch. Okay, so listen up. I will do whatever, whatever level of shooey will get my reputation, my street cred back. I don’t care if we’re spitting in them. I don’t care if.. Well you got slides on. I’ll do it out of someone’s shoe. Whatever I need to do to do a real shoey and get some freakin’ respect back.”

To which Pedro had the perfect trolling response:
“I’m pretty sure in Australia. If you did the cuppy though, you’d be back.”

Cuppy is a Tai Tuivasa’s creation. He called on Derrick Lewis’ signature saying ‘My balls was hot’ offering to alter his shoey custom for the event:

“[Derrick Lewis] can throw [his cup] to me when I win and I’ll do a ‘cuppy’ out of his ball guard then.”

This was in response to Lewis saying a shoeys is a bit nasty even for him:
“I can’t do nothing like that. Nah,” Lewis said regarding Tuivasa’s shoeys. “I’d say I’d take my cup off and drink beer out of that. That’s as far as I would go.”
