UFC featherweight contender Brian Ortega shared a prank he pulled on fiancé Tracy Cortez recemt;y. The prank hilariously failed and backfired.
UFC featherweight star Brian Ortega is currently sitting at number 3 in UFC featherweight rankings. The 31-year-old was undefeated since his professional MMA debut in 2010. However, when he challenged Max Holloway for the featherweight title in 2018, he tasted his first loss.
He earned another title shot against Alexander Volkanovski in 2021 where he lost via unanimous decision. Ortega put up a fearless front against the pound-for-pound champ, earning the respect of many MMA fans.
Recently, Brian Ortega posted a hilarious video on his Instagram account. ‘T-City’ pulled two doorbell pranks on his fiancé Tracy Cortez, who is a UFC women’s flyweight contender. Ortega recorded the prank on a security camera located on his front porch.
In the video, Cortez can be seen walking to the door and about to enter the house. Then, Ortega, stunned her saying “intruder alert” via doorbell camera. Cortez was startled and cursed out her fiancé.
In another clip, Ortega can be seen loitering around his front porch. Unfortunately, he accidentally hit the back of his head on some fixture on the patio. The hit clearly hurt him pretty badly as Ortega can be seen standing still for a moment, trying to hold the pain.
Ortega was clearly having fun days despite suffering a back-to-back losses. After Volkanovski defeated him, Ortega faced top contender Yair Rodriguez. The match ended in the last minute of the first round after Ortega injured his shoulder.
Tracy Cortez is rumored to be expecting her first child after a medical commission pulled her from the contest against Amanda Ribas after both had succesfully weighed in.
The two even posed together, attending the event.
Ortega tattooed her name under his lip in a video posted on his Instagram on Valentine’s Day complete with the caption “All I can say is … I LOVE HER”.
Cortez also got her bottom lip tattooed with “Brian” written on it.
