(Video) Two women arrested after wild brawl over missed boarding at Miami airport

At Miami International Airport, two female passengers were arrested after an altercation with an airline employee and a subsequent clash with law enforcement that was captured on camera.

Two rowdy ladies were restrained by police on Tuesday, as shown in a cellphone video that was sent to NBC 6 Miami by the news outlet Only In Dade.

One of the detained individuals has bright pink hair. She is seen kicking her feet and attempting to escape while crawling on her stomach and yelling “Get off of me!” loudly. The second lady is laying face down on the ground with her wrists tied behind her back.

Around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, an incident occurred at a Frontier Airlines ticket counter. The two ladies were told they would not be allowed to board their flight to Atlanta because they were 45 minutes late.

According to an arrest report cited by the station, a verbal altercation became violent when 20-year-old Makyan Mercer reportedly threw a plastic sign holder at the Frontier employee, leaving her with a cut on her face.

The second lady was 21-year-old Janaeah Negash. She attempted to obstruct the arrest by placing herself in between Mercer and the police while they were arresting her.

According to the arrest report, Nagesh yelled at the officers, “Don’t touch her!”

Mercer was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct and was booked at the Miami-Dade County Jail. On counts of resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct, Negash was arrested as well.

The two Durham, North Carolina, residents were freed from custody after each posted a $500 bail. On February 23, they are expected back in Florida court.
