(Video) Tom Aspinall grapples UK comedian in Bed in funny segment

UFC heavyweight contender Tom Aspinall delivered one of the most unexpected and hilarious moments in late-night television. He recently surprised comedian Chris Ramsey in his own bedroom for Comedy Central UK’s Midnight Game Show.

The surreal segment began with Aspinall waking up a confused Ramsey, who found himself participating in a game show while still in bed. “I can’t apologize enough,” Ramsey stammered as bright lights flooded his bedroom, clearly disoriented by the unexpected intrusion. The comedian’s bewilderment was evident as he questioned why he was being forced to participate while naked, eventually putting on pants as the cameras rolled.

The entertainment escalated when Aspinall was introduced with his impressive credentials – standing 6’5″ tall with 12 professional wins, nine by knockout, and three by submission. Meanwhile, Ramsey was humorously announced as being “from South Shields, England with a fourth place finish on Strictly Come Dancing” and “the defending number one podcaster in the world.”

The duo engaged in a series of increasingly absurd challenges, starting with a weigh-in that required a trip to Ramsey’s bathroom. Aspinall accurately guessed Ramsey’s weight at 84 kilograms, while Ramsey’s estimate of 130 kilograms for the heavyweight fighter fell short of the actual 116 kilograms.

The competition continued with a staring contest, where Ramsey’s “sleeping breath situation” became a running joke, with Aspinall confirming the unfortunate reality of his opponent’s morning breath.

The segment reached its comedic peak when the pair returned to Ramsey’s bedroom for the final challenge. With Ramsey’s wife Rosie present to verify answers, Aspinall applied various MMA holds while firing off personal questions about Rosie. Despite being trapped in submission holds, Ramsey successfully answered questions about his wife’s birthday (30th of August), her mother’s maiden name (Crawford), and her celebrity crush (James McAvoy).

“So heavy, Tom,” Ramsey groaned as Aspinall maintained his hold. Tom Aspinall has been enjoying his position as the heavyweight champion of the UFC since Jon Jones retired.
