(Video) Steve-O asks Ronda Rousey what Travis Browne said to Brendan Schaub after knocking him out

In a recent interview, Steve O posed a burning question to former UFC champion Ronda Rousey regarding her husband Travis Browne’s infamous knockout of Brendan Schaub.

Rousey had previously described watching the event live, recounting that as she witnessed Browne’s devastating blow that put Schaub out cold, she felt like she could hear her then-boyfriend (now husband) say “F*** you” to the partially conscious Schaub.

Intrigued by this anecdote, Steve O asked Rousey pointblank: “Did he [Browne] actually say that?”

Rousey played coy, responding with a sly smile, “No, I don’t know if he wants me to say what he said.”

She did, however, tease that whatever Browne uttered in that moment was “pretty f***ing metal.”

The knockout in question occurred in 2014 when Browne and Schaub faced off in the octagon. Browne emerged victorious via first-round KO, a highlight-reel finish that earned him a celebratory Harley Davidson motorcycle.

While the mystery of Browne’s words may never be solved, Rousey’s admission that they were sufficiently “metal” will surely pique the curiosity of MMA fans forever.

There’s no love lost between the three with Brendan Schaub often poking fun at Rousey and Browne. It’s worth noting that Rousey dated Schaub back in the hayday of her fame so there’s quite a few hard feelings floating around.

Schaub also put Rousey on blast for dating Browne while he was still married:
“It’s tough when you’re like, don’t be a do-nothing b*tch and you hate on Mayweather, and then your boyfriend’s over here beating the sh** out of his wife,” Schaub said. “Not to mention, he’s still married. So it’s tough when you’re a role model.”

Browne was really proud of his work – and even posted about it on social media. Leading into the event Browne said: “Honestly, I don’t want to knock him out… I want him to feel what it’s like to go three rounds with me. And I’ll tell you right now, this guy, a lot of people don’t rub me the wrong way, but opinions are like a**h**es, you need to keep them to yourself. That’s exactly what he needs to do.”

In an episode of ‘The Fighter and The Kid’ Brendan talked about how childish it was of Browne to come up with that post after years had passed. He said “It’s over. I have no hard feelings. I like him. He’s a nice guy, his girl. What’s there to say? Is there hard feelings because I dated your girl years ago? Move on, man. I don’t hold grudges.”

He later added: “I’m just glad he got a break from folding Ronda’s laundry to post.“
