Max Holloway has many fans in the UFC. The former featherweight champion of the UFC is known for his all out brawl style – and being surprisingly wholesome considering his profession.
Holloway is of Hawaiian, Samoan and English ancestry and tries to represent the area as best as he can. Holloway has one son – Rush Holloway from a previous marriage and is with surfer Alessa Quizon.

Holloway was recently announced to be fighting Alex Volkanovski – however just a few days after it was announced Holloway revealed he had backed out due to an injury he suffered in training. He had since been replaced with Korean Zombie.
Holloway was recently praised by elite boxing trainer Teddy Atlas (h/t sportskeeda):
“Holloway is a tremendous, tremendous, elite boxer. I mean he does it all. He is very well rounded and he has proved that many times in the octagon. But him and guys like Yan to me, I have said it before and I will say it again, if I walked in a room and there was no graphics up and I was watching a monitor, there was no sign telling you who’s who and I saw Holloway or Yan doing his thing striking, I would think I was watching a professional [boxing] fight. I believe that is how good they are at record striking because… you are just watching some good boxing,” said Atlas.
