Some people are prone to overreactions which is one of the reasons why self defense is a must for every individual.
One nightclub hygienist came to learn this the hard way.
After being discovered getting “intimate” in a restroom for the handicapped, an Australian clubgoer assaulted the cleaner who caught him in the act.
Ex-army technician Billy Dean Fallon struck the cleaner several times after coming out of the female handicapped stall. The incident happened at the Nightjar nightclub in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.
According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Fallon acknowledged assault resulting in bodily injury on Monday at Southport Magistrates Court.
CCTV footage shows that the cleaner had been pounding on the restroom door for a while. Fallon launched a barrage of punches at him.
The cleaner is ultimately shoved into a wall, and Fallon keeps hitting him as he hits the ground.
Then, a blond lady leaving the disabled cubicle while wearing a green dress can be observed.
She and Fallon were reportedly in the “midst of an intimate encounter,” according to the court.
According to defense attorney Angus Edwards, “He was in there becoming intimate with his partner … they were in the midst of becoming intimate when someone started banging on the door.”
“He acted impulsively, he acted protectively and he thought he was protecting himself and his partner.”
The cleaner had a fractured nose as a result.
Fallon received a one-year jail term but was given immediate parole. He was ordered to pay $1,500 to his victim.
