Social media personality Logan Paul orchestrated an elaborate prank on BBC journalists who traveled to Puerto Rico to interview him about alleged scams, by sending his look-alike to face their questions.
The incident unfolded when BBC reporters arrived at a location for their scheduled interview with Paul. They noted an unusual atmosphere and spotted several of Paul’s own cameras set up in the room.
The look-alike, who appeared noticeably nervous, attempted to maintain the charade but struggled to provide substantive answers. When asked about his experience of being one of the most famous people in the world, he simply responded, “It’s good, man.”
As the interview progressed, the BBC journalist pointed out the apparent differences in appearance, stating, “I had to say that the real Logan Paul looks very different.” When pressed about whether the real Logan Paul would be joining them, the impersonator maintained, “I’m right here, man.”
The situation reached its breaking point when the reporter attempted to address serious allegations, leading the look-alike to abruptly end the interview, saying, “Let’s just get out of here. I’m not doing this.”
Instead of addressing the BBC’s investigation directly, Paul chose to orchestrate this elaborate ruse. Shortly after the failed interview attempt, BBC reporters received correspondence from Paul’s legal team warning them against publishing their allegations.
