(Video) Joe Rogan hilariously ‘squashes’ Trump beef

UFC commentator Joe Rogan has a cult-like following amongst UFC fans, and it’s unlikely they’ll ever turn on him regardless of what he says or does. However, those fans were left in surprise recently when presidential candidate Donald Trump put out a post on social media targeting the podcaster. But Rogan has now responded in his signature laid-back style, suggesting the beef has been squashed.

The former president is a huge fan of combat sports and good friends with UFC president Dana White. Whenever Trump enters the arena for a UFC event, he’s greeted with deafening cheers, no matter the location. But following Rogan’s statement about one of his rivals, Trump had posted that Rogan would receive the opposite reaction from fans at the next UFC event.

A few days after this statement, Rogan took to Instagram to post a picture with a Trump look-alike, captioning it, “Ran into Trump. Everything is cool.” It would appear that, true to his public persona, Rogan could really care less what anybody thinks.

Rogan dropped in on a Kill Tony show, where a Shane Gillis dressed as Trump did a funny bit about Rogan.

For years, fans have been requesting Rogan to have Trump on the podcast. However, the JRE podcast host has always denied the opportunity, saying he did not want to ‘help’ Trump in any way.

The former president’s attack on Rogan likely stems from the podcaster’s extremely complementary comments about Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent running against Trump in the presidential race. Many believed this was Rogan’s way of endorsing Kennedy, but the 57-year-old later clarified that his comments were merely because he likes Kennedy as a person, not an endorsement.

Regardless of who Rogan endorses, it’s safe to say that pigs will fly upside down before he’s booed at a UFC event by fans.
