(Video) Jack Becker Suffers Gruesome Leg Break at Eternal MMA

At Eternal MMA 66, many expected Jack Becker to be the next UFC signee – but for the top prospect the event turned into an absolute nightmare.

After fracturing his leg at Eternal MMA 66 on Sunday, Jack Becker will have a long rehabilitation ahead of him.

Becker was defending his lightweight championship against Aidan Aguilera in Perth, Australia. His leg snapped early in the first round after his opponent checked a calf kick he threw.

The injury occurred early in the bout, with just a few strikes thrown before the fight had to be stopped. Becker took a couple of leg kicks before throwing his own. His ankle wrapped around Aguilera’s leg as a result of the kick’s counter.

Becker’s right leg crumbled as he placed weight back on it. Becker collapsed to the canvas, his leg pointing in a horrifying downward way.

The situation was reminiscent of what occurred at UFC 168 when Anderson Silva sustained a similar injury after being kicked by Chris Weidman during a middleweight championship fight.
