Francis Ngannou, former UFC heavyweight champion, is currently a subject of speculation and discussion among fans of combat sports.

PFL CEO Peter Murray revealed that they have a “very close relationship” with Ngannou and he has been discussed as a potential prospect for the PFL.

Ngannou has been linked with various promoters, including professional boxing ones such as former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and promoter Eddie Hearn.

In the realm of Mixed Martial Arts, Ngannou has also been discussed as a potential prospect for ONE Championship.

Murray expressed excitement about Ngannou’s boxing plans, but also hinted at possible future plans related to MMA.

Ngannou’s potential future comeback to the UFC seems completely ruled out, as UFC president Dana White has called him “absolutely impossible to deal with.”

Ngannou earned the undisputed UFC heavyweight title in March 2021 by defeating Stipe Miocic via knockout in their title rematch.
