(Video) Gilbert Burns and brother Herbert do the tortilla challenge

UFC has been eager to introduce a whole new generation of fans, this is perhaps why UFC boss Dana White was so eager to gift $250,000 to NELK’s Kyle Forgeard for his birthday.

In a true sign that currents are changing, UFC is engaging more and more with tiktok. And with that come peculiar challenges designed to help the poster go viral.

User Alexandra Johnsson started the trend up again when her demonstration video hit 59 million views on the plaftorm.

The tortilla challenge is a challenge that emerged on the Chinese social media platform. The challenge involves two people playing a game of rock, paper, scissors with a tortilla on standby and water in their mouths.

While the Burns brothers opted for tortillas, The Korean Zombie and Li Jingliang took things to a whole new level unable to contain the burst of laughter.

Herbert Burns is booked to face Bill Algeo during the July 16th card headlined by Brian Ortega and Yair Rodriguez.

Herbert Burns is the younger brother of welterweight contender Gilbert Durinho Burns.

Herbert last suffered a second round TKO loss against Daniel Pineda at UFC 252 back in August of 2020.

34 year old Burns previously did a stint in ONE FC in Asia. He is an underdog coming into tonight.

Li Jingliang is coming off of a loss to Khamzat Chimaev. He told media:

“I think I learned a lot. The experience of fighting from the Khamzat fight, I think I can learn more from my loss than the wins. So I lost five times in my UFC career. I think I learned more from those losses than from my victories in the UFC.”
“After the Khamzat fight, I spent more time with my family because I’m a dad of two lovely kids. So I spent more time with family and after the Chinese New Year, I came to the U.S. in April with my team and just focused on the training camp. I hope I can have two more fights this year to give more to my fans.”
