(Video) Georges St-Pierre’s trains with F1 Star Ricciardo

UFC veteran Georges St-Pierre recently had a moment together with formula one star Daniel Ricciardo. ‘Rush’ hilariously choked Ricciardo and left him “giggling like a schoolboy”.

As one of the most phenomenal mixed martial artists in the world, Georges St-Pierre is still the center of attention even after quitting his professional MMA career. The two-division UFC champion spends his post-retirement time attending shows with celebrities and other renowned athletes.

Recently, St-Pierre hung out with Daniel Ricciardo, an Australian F1 superstar. Ricciardo visited the UFC Hall of Famer and his coach Firas Zahabi at Tristar Gym in his home country Canada. The pair were having fun and practicing St-Pierre’s field of expertise, mixed martial arts.

Georges St-Pierre taught Ricciardo some basic techniques from striking to grappling. They also practiced martial arts and had a sparring session together. St-Pierre hilariously put Ricciardo in a choke hold and the 32-year-old professional driver could only giggle while trying his best to escape.

Ricciardo continued to explain how hard a non-fighter like him is taking on MMA legends like Georges St-Pierre.

“I got put through my paces with coach Firas, Georges. and learned a bunch. I was just giggling like a schoolboy the whole time. I’m fully prepared now if I get an altercation on track on the weekend.” Ricciardo said after training.

“Numerous chokes, numerous ways to put ’em out. A couple strikes. I’ve got good footwork. Good power. Anyone that crosses my path this ain’t no game no more.” Ricciardo added.

Georges St-Pierre is regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. The 41-year-old won the middleweight and welterweight UFC championship along with a number of achievements in his 15 years as an active fighter.

St-Pierre retired from the UFC in 2019 and has stopped competing since then.
