(Video) Famed MMA coach hilariously lampoons ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith

Stephen A. Smith has been a polarizing figure across many sports he covers. Mixed martial arts are no different. Smith was criticized repeatedly for the many things he said regarding MMA that didn’t even remotely ring true – all while pretending to be an expert.

Among his many gaffes are the time he triggered McGregor into going into a tirade against the freshly retired Khabib Nurmagomedov, saying Cowboy Cerrone had ‘quit’ against McGregor, saying that he doesn’t enjoy watching women in the UFC and many more.

“When I think about pugilistic sports, I don’t like seeing women involved in that at all. I just don’t like it. I wouldn’t promote legislating laws to prohibit them from doing so, but I don’t want to see women punching each other in the face. I don’t want to see women fighting in the octagon and stuff like that, but that’s just me. What I would adamantly be against is them fighting men. I don’t think that’s cool. Plus, you don’t ever want to give men license to believe that it’s all right to be physical with a woman, to be quite honest with you. You don’t want to do that.” – Smith admitted on his program.

Naturally this kind of an act lends itself to lampooning, which is exactly what famed MMA coach Din Thomas did.  Thomas is often on hand for UFC broadcasts and offers an expert’s take on an event.

Din Thomas provided a swift takedown of ESPN reporter in a funny manner.

Previously Thomas lampooned Herb Dean for his complete lack of disregard towards safety. Dean is a widely spread meme in the MMA community due to his tendency to run to catch up with the action in the octagon.
