Former strongman Eddie Hall has released the “full video” after a clip went viral showing him angrily confronting a driver near his North Staffordshire home, explaining his actions were in defense of his family against what he describes as harassment.
The initial viral video, captured on May 5th, showed Hall approaching a vehicle and shouting: “Get out. Get out, you f**king p**ck. I’ll rip your f**king head off. All of you. Get out and I’ll f**king rip all your heads off, you p**ck.”
In the footage, a person in a vehicle ahead can be heard saying: “He’s just scared my daughter, Eddie Hall. Did you just see that?”
Hall, nicknamed “The Beast,” took to YouTube on Tuesday with a lengthy video titled “DON’T VISIT MY HOUSE!!! | Stalkers CONFRONTED! ft. EDDIE HALL” to provide context for the incident.
“Three blacked out cars circled my kids home last night at 9pm revving engines, beeping horns, looking into the property and wouldn’t leave when asked to do so… things escalated and here you’re seeing the last 30 seconds of a total of an 18 minute harassment of my kids peaceful place of sanctuary,” Hall wrote on Instagram.
“I ask you to watch the full video on my YouTube channel and tell me you wouldn’t have done the same?!”
In his explanation, Hall claims the vehicles were outside his home for approximately 10 minutes before his wife, Alex, politely asked them to leave. They allegedly remained for another seven minutes before Hall intervened. He insists he was unaware children were present until the “last 30 seconds” due to the vehicles’ blacked-out windows.
The retired strongman shared CCTV footage to demonstrate that the confrontation was much longer than what appeared in the viral clip. “You know, people are sticking up for me, but there’s always those that don’t understand the situation, that won’t read my response, that won’t read the context to the video,” Hall said.
He adamantly denies making physical contact with anyone involved: “I did not touch the guy.”
“It just paints me as an ogre. And it’s not fair. You people are the ogres. You people need to learn the lesson from this, not me. Leave my family alone,” Hall added.
Staffordshire Police are investigating the incident and have issued a statement: “We were called to an address on Seabridge Lane in Newcastle-under-Lyme at 8.55pm on Monday (5 May) following reports of an assault. A man approached a car that was parked nearby and shouted at the driver. It is reported that the man tried to open the door of the car when it started to drive away.”
Police are appealing for witnesses, asking anyone with information to contact them quoting incident 678 of May 5.
