(Video) United Airlines worker fired after altercation with ex-NFL player at an Airport

Around 11 a.m. Thursday, an unnamed worker pushed ex-Denver Broncos cornerback Brendan Langley. Brendan is a former NFL player who is currently a receiver for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.

Brendan then unleashed a barrage of strikes that sent the employee sprawling.

After that, the disoriented uniformed employee slapped the much-larger athlete across the face.

“You saw that s—?” Langley yells at a bystander before punching the employee in the face, knocking him to the ground and causing him to bleed profusely.

The bleeding United employee rises to his feet and challenges the football player once again.

“You wants some more? He wants some more!” He is yelled at by Langley.

The incident is said to have started when Langley used a wheelchair to transfer his bags rather than a $5 luggage cart, according to the Daily Mail.

According to TMZ, the now-former airline employee has not been prosecuted in the altercation because it was unclear who threw the initial punch in the video.

The United employee seems to strike first on Langley in one video.

Another footage of the altercation that was released online claimed to show Langley landing the initial hit.

Langley was detained on a charge of simple assault.

A United representative has told that the company “does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our planes and we are working with local authorities to further investigate this matter.”

An airline representative stated in an email that the employee had been sacked by United Ground Express, the company’s connecting subsidiary.

“yall aint off the hook… worst customer experience in the entirety of my life on Heaven!!!!” Langley said on Twitter in response to the event. He then claimed in a tweet that the United employee had attacked him and that he was defending himself.

Meanwhile, the Calgary Stampeders have confirmed that the incident involving their player is being investigated.

In a statement to CNN, the Calgary Stampeders said, ““The Calgary Stampeders football club is aware of the reports concerning Brendan Langley.”

“The team is currently looking into the matter in order to learn the full details and will have no further comment until the investigation is complete,” the team said.
