Early Sunday morning, UFC star Tony Ferguson was arrested for DUI after he crashed his pickup truck into two parked cars outside a Hollywood club just before 2 AM. The incident left his truck flipped on its side, but miraculously, no one was injured.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Tony was “very uncooperative” at the scene and refused to take a field test. The cops who evaluated him noted that he reeked and had bloodshot eyes.
Tony was arrested at the scene and is now facing a misdemeanor DUI charge. Additionally, he is also facing license suspension for refusing to take the field test.
Cash Gotti, a rapper and owner of one of the cars Tony allegedly hit, came out of the club to find his Mercedes destroyed. It’s just another night in Hollywood.
Tony Ferguson is a professional UFC star with an impressive record of 25 wins and 5 losses. However, his recent arrest for DUI could have serious consequences for his career.
Tony has always been a fan favorite, known for his intense style and impressive record. However, his recent actions have left many fans disappointed and concerned for his well-being. Hopefully, this incident serves as a wake-up call for Tony, and he takes the necessary steps to get his life back on track.
This isn’t the first time Ferguson has encountered legal issues.
Tony Ferguson’s wife filed a restraining order against him in March 2019, just days after Tony was removed from the UFC 223 card.
According to the documents filed, Tony’s wife alleged that he had exhibited disturbing behavior, including paranoia and delusions. She also claimed that he had physically assaulted her and their child, and that she feared for her safety.
The restraining order required Tony to stay at least 100 yards away from his wife and their child, and he was also ordered to move out of their family home. Tony later denied the allegations and stated that he was seeking professional help for his mental health.
The two have since reconciled and welcomed another child together.
