UFC’s Molly McCann announces engagement

UFC women’s Flyweight Molly McCann opened 2023 with a great start. She announced on New Year’s eve she got engaged to her partner.

Molly McCann is one of the most famous female Flyweights right now. The 32-year-old Scouser has an energetic vibe and always showcased her intensity in the octagon. She was on a 3 win streak that got her famous, with 2 of the wins coming via a spinning elbow.

However, on her latest outing in November 2022, McCann suffered a devastating loss against Erin Blanchfield, a newcomer who just joined the UFC in September 2021.

Blanchfield easily caught McCann in a kimura lock and submitted her in the middle of the first round. Despite the shameful loss, McCann still has a good number of fans who are still proud of her.

Recently, ‘Meatball’ shared good news on her social media. She took to her Instagram account to announce that she is engaged to her female partner, Ellis Clark.

Clark is a Team Operations Coordinator at Everton Football Club.

This is one of the reasons why McCann is often spotted in an Everton football club jersey.

In the picture, McCann can be seen kissing Clark on her cheek. Another picture also shows their engagement rings.

“There’s knowing that if all fails and the ship sails our boat will still survive. Here’s to the rest of our days together.” McCann captioned her post.

Molly McCann came out publicly as a lesbian at the age of 25 years old. On another post on Twitter, McCann sent a message to fans to thank them for their support.

“Thank you everyone for sending your love and blessings to El and I! Means the world to us both to know how loved we are. Today will be my last day off before the takeover begins again! MMA Community – I’m recharged, re-energized and ready to go again! Here’s to another great year, thank you for the love and the hate! It’s all fuel to the fire!” McCann wrote.
