UFC’s Bryce Mitchell turns on ICE – after doing a 180 on Trump

UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell has ignited controversy once again, this time taking aim at Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in an impassioned Instagram video that comes just days after his dramatic reversal on former President Donald Trump.

The Arkansas star, who recently declared Trump to be “the Antichrist” and withdrew his support from the man he once championed, has now set his sights on ICE enforcement activities targeting undocumented immigrants.

In a video filled with emotional appeals, Mitchell addressed the Mexican community directly with a message of solidarity.

“I want to let all the Mexicans know I love them. I love y’all because y’all got hearts and souls. Y’all are my equal, my brothers and sisters and my neighbors,” Mitchell stated at the opening of his video.

Mitchell went on to describe the contributions of Mexican immigrants to American society, calling them “our home builders, our road makers” and declaring that they are “beyond contributors to society.” He emphasized that Mexican workers “are what makes our society,” pushing back against rhetoric that frames undocumented immigrants primarily as a security threat.

The UFC star then made startling allegations about the true purpose of immigration enforcement. “Remember, ICE is not about getting the bad guys. It’s about trafficking young children,” Mitchell claimed, connecting his criticism to his earlier complaints about unreleased documents related to Jeffrey Epstein—one of the key reasons he cited for abandoning his support of Trump.

In comments on his post, Mitchell elaborated on his theory, writing that “ice traffics children” and suggesting that officials “wont release the files cause theyre themselves r involved.”

The timing of Mitchell’s ICE criticism is particularly notable given the current political climate. His video arrives as the Trump administration has ramped up immigration enforcement operations across the country, with ICE conducting highly publicized raids in multiple cities.

Mitchell’s message took on an urgent, almost apocalyptic tone as he warned his followers: “All evil empires, all regimes that are evil come to an end. The end of this evil regime is near.” He then directly addressed Mexican Americans with a warning: “Hide your wife, hide your kids.”

“I can’t do anything to help you right now other than to talk about this, but this empire will collapse,” Mitchell continued, before positioning himself as a lone voice of dissent. “I want you to remember that one gringo stood up and spoke on behalf of y’all because I love you and I don’t care what nobody else thinks.”

In additional comments, Mitchell suggested that “most Mexicans just wanna work and live here in peace, and theyre bein attacked,” arguing that “if we actually punished crime there would b no problem at all.”

He also warned that “martial law is approacing closer thru ice” and advised followers not to trust politicians.

Mitchell’s video represents the latest chapter in his increasingly conspiratorial worldview, which has shifted dramatically in recent weeks. Where he once stood as one of Trump’s most vocal supporters in the UFC community, he now sees the former president as a biblical villain and views government agencies as fundamentally corrupt.

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland responded to Mitchell’s post with a challenge: “We should have a debate…..”

Neither ICE officials nor Trump representatives have commented on Mitchell’s allegations.
