UFC’s Bryce Mitchell Pleased Cancelled Comedian Russell Brand Will Attend His Gym Opening

UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell shared details about the high-profile guests attending his upcoming gym opening during the latest episode of his ArkanSanity podcast.

Mitchell announced that his 12,000 square foot gym facility in Fayetteville, Arkansas, will officially open on February 21st with several notable figures in attendance.

“There’s going to be some huge names there,” Mitchell told viewers. “Jake Shields will be there, UFC legend. Russell Brand, which is an actor that is like actually cool. He’s a cool actor.”

He continued: “Also, Mark the Hammer Coleman, UFC champion, legend. Okay, these guys are all going to be there. I’m going to be there. I think there’s going to be even more legends there. But I know that the four of us are going to be there.”

The facility will offer boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, along with recovery amenities including a sauna, red light therapy, and cold plunge. Mitchell emphasized an early enrollment discount for those who sign up before the opening.

“If you come in early, get signed up right now, it’s 20% off your membership,” Mitchell said. “This is a huge opportunity. All you got to do to get 20% off is sign up right now.”

Mitchell directed potential members to his gym website and encouraged viewers to scan a QR code displayed during the broadcast for immediate registration.

Russel Brand’s inclusion among the guests has drawn attention due to the serious legal issues he is currently facing in the United Kingdom. He has been charged with two counts of r**e, two counts of SA, and one count of indecent assault. Prosecutors allege the incidents occurred between 1999 and 2005 in London and Bournemouth.

When the allegations first surfaced, Brand denied all wrongdoing and reiterated that stance after being formally charged. In a video response, he acknowledged past struggles with a**iction but maintained his innocence, stating that he has never engaged in non-consensual activity and welcomed the opportunity to defend himself in court.

Outside of entertainment, Brand has remained active in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community and holds the rank of purple belt. Despite the ongoing case, several BJJ practitioners and instructors have continued to support him publicly.

In recent years, Brand has also shifted toward online content centered on wellness and alternative viewpoints, along with promoting alternative health products.
