UFC’s Aspinall says he watched an entire Adult site catalogue while recovering from knee injury

Tom Aspinall recently revealed that he had a unique pastime to beat boredom during his long injury lay-off. While recovering from a devastating ACL tear, which he sustained during a bout against Curtis Blaydes in July 2022, Aspinall said he watched the entirety of content on a prominent adult website.

Aspinall had been on an impressive win streak and was expected to be challenging for the title soon. Unfortunately, the knee injury put him out of action for almost a year. During his rehabilitation, he turned to watching adult content, and the website helped him kill time.

The Briton revealed his accomplishment during an interview on The MMA Hour. He said:

Aspinall is currently in the final stages of his recovery and is expected to make a comeback sometime this year. He said, “I’m much happier now everything is good. We’re moving in a good direction. I feel amazing mentally and physically. Ready to go.”

There are rumors that Aspinall might take on Marcin Tybura in his return to the octagon following some back-and-forth trash-talk on social media.

ACL tears are hard to get over and typically take about a year to recover from.

Blaydes and Aspinall barely started their bout when Aspinall’s knee gave out. This was the third high profile injury to completely derail a UFC event. Previously Aleksandar Rakic and Brian Ortega suffered catastrophic injuries in the cage that basically ruined their main events.

UFC does not provide health insurance. A likely explanation for all of these injuries in the cage is the fact that UFC pays for surgeries stemming from injuries inside the cage which is why many people opt to get on with it and take their chances. This is especially true of the American UFC stars considering the cost of health care in the US can get to astronomical levels.
