UFC veteran Mike Perry reveals Jake Paul team was irate with him over fake script post

UFC veteran Mike Perry claims that he offended Jake Paul’s coach by posting a fake script of Jake Paul’s bout with Tommy Fury.

On the morning of the much-awaited Paul vs. Fury event, Perry posted a “script” for their boxing bout. It made a number of outrageous assertions about what would transpire when the two adversaries finally engaged in combat.

Tommy Fury soundly outboxed Paul at the Diriyah Arena on Sunday night over the course of eight rounds. He won the match via a split decision and improved his record to 9-0.

However, the ‘script’ claimed that Paul would enter the ring in a baby outfit. He would end up striking Fury in the eye and severely injuring him. The script also claimed that Jake would win the match through eighth-round TKO.

According to the script posted by Perry, Paul would call out KSI during his post-fight celebrations. The post was so widely circulated that those in charge of promoting the event had to respond to it. They informed The Sun: “We can confirm, it’s fake.”

Perry has subsequently admitted that he didn’t create the script.

He said to TMZ Sports: “It was an Instagram post I think my buddy sent me. I tweeted it and it’s probably my best tweet of all time, probably. It got a lot of attention.”

“Jake’s coach wrote me and was upset about his reputation. I was thinking, well, Jake never cared about my reputation when he posted a video of what I said to him at practice.”

Perry has been scheduled to bareknuckle box former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold on April 29.
