UFC veteran calls out Eddie Hall after Karate Combat KO win

In a bold post-fight declaration that has caught the attention of combat sports enthusiasts, MMA veteran Sam Alvey has publicly challenged former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall to a showdown.

Speaking immediately after his recent appearance at KC 54, Alvey made his intentions clear while discussing his future plans.

“You know what I want to do first. I gotta defend my life heavyweight belt I’m going back down, but second now you want to record this everyone any hall. I am going to kick your ass respectfully,” Alvey stated during his post-event interview.

The challenge didn’t stop there, as Alvey continued with a mix of competitive spirit and admiration for the British strongman: “You’re incredible. I’ve seen what you’re doing. I want a piece.”

This call-out represents an interesting crossover between mixed martial arts and the strongman world. Hall, who claimed the World’s Strongest Man title in 2017, has ventured into boxing in recent years, most notably facing fellow strongman Thor Björnsson in a highly publicized match in 2022.

Alvey, known for his lengthy UFC career spanning 24 bouts with the organization, appears ready to test himself against the 361-pound strength athlete in what would certainly be a unique sporting spectacle.

The interviewer acknowledged the ambitious challenge, responding with “All right, so we’re calling out Eddie Hall right here could happen KC.”

While no official response has come from Hall’s camp, fans are already speculating about the potential matchup between these two athletes from different competitive backgrounds.
