UFC Vegas 50: Marlon Moraes TKO-ed for the 4th time in a row

Prior to the fight with Song Yadong, Moraes talked about how this might be his last chance:

“In the UFC, your first fight could be your last, and your last fight could be your first, so you never know,” Moraes said. “It’s up to your performance. You have to go there and put on a show. Win or lose, you have to leave the crowd on their feet and be someone they like to watch. This is the spirit I have going into this [fight], to trade hands and impose my style inside the octagon and leave with the victory.”

This might turn out to be a fateful remark considering Moraes just got knocked out for the 4th time in a row. This was the biggest fight of Song Yadong’s career and he delivered in spectacular fashion.

And that was all she wrote for Moraes. Moraes now has consecutive losses from Sandhagen, Font, Dvalishvili and Yadong – all by knock out.

The knock out happened in the very first round. Tough to see Moraes get knocked out again considering his skill level. It appears his chin is just not there any more.
