UFC stars Dan Hooker and Aljamain Sterling physically confronted fan wearing clown costume at meet and greet

UFC stars Dan Hooker and Aljamain Sterling recently had an entertaining encounter with an overzealous fan. Hooker recounted the amusing story involving the fan dressing up in a clown costume.

“We were sitting there doing an appearance, me, Sterling and John (Kavanagh), all lined up,” Hooker told Adesanya. “Then I see this guy in the back wearing like a clown hat and clown heels. I was keeping an eye on this motherf*cker.”

The fan eventually made his way to the front of the line, doing something Hooker found disruptive. “He walks up and does something, like he was trying to steal the limelight or be disruptive,” Hooker explained.

That’s when the UFC veteran took matters into his own hands in an unconventional way. “I just f*cking hit him in the nuts,” Hooker admitted with a laugh. “I ripped the clown head off him and threw it over there.”

Hooker says he then threatened to take the clown fan’s picture if he didn’t leave. The fan quickly backed down, to which Hooker said “I’m like ‘f*ck off’ and he works out.”

While handling hecklers with physical force is generally not recommended, Hooker indicated he would want someone to stand up for him in that type of situation. “If someone was trying to punk me out, I’d want someone to say something,” he reasoned.
