UFC star boasts of booking 30 luxury escorts for the after party in front of his wife and his father

Recently, Brazilian heavyweight Valter Walker found himself at the center of a viral controversy after openly discussing his lavish party plans during a video interview.

The footage, which has circulated widely on social media, shows Walker casually revealing to those around him—including what appears to be family members—that he had arranged for thirty high-end escorts to attend his post-event celebration in Rio de Janeiro.

Walker explaining in explicit detail that everything had already been arranged and confirmed. When his wife, in the room, asked for clarification, clearly confused by what they’d just heard, the situation became even more awkward.

Walker attempted to provide cover by suggesting he was talking about “tacos,” leading to a exchange where he tried to convince his wife that the conversation was about Brazilian cuisine.

“What?” his wife asked, clearly surprised. Walker quickly responded, “No puta, tacos. Tacos, Mexican.” The uncomfortable moment continued with attempts to deflect, while Walker struggled to maintain the obviously false narrative.

His wife then said sarcastically, “Interesting, I want to try Brazilian tacos.”

The video captures Walker discussing the various expenses associated with preparing for his anticipated bout, including bringing people from Russia, hiring new trainers, and working with a stretching coach. It was within this context of discussing costs that he made the eyebrow-raising revelation about his after-party arrangements.

The timing of this viral moment couldn’t have been worse for Walker, as his scheduled heavyweight matchup against Mohammed Usman at UFC Rio was ultimately scrapped. According to reports from Brazilian journalist Laerte Viana, Usman withdrew from the bout due to testing positive for elevated testosterone levels in a sample collected in September.

Valter Walker, the brother of UFC veteran Johnny Walker, had been riding high on momentum, having won his last three contests all by heel hook submission—one of the most difficult techniques to execute in mixed martial arts. The cancellation meant he wouldn’t have the opportunity to extend his winning streak to four consecutive victories in front of his home crowd.

At Friday’s weigh-ins, despite having no opponent, Walker still made an appearance and didn’t mince words about the situation. “I trained a lot for this fight, and this motherf**ker ran,” he said while posing on the scales, clearly frustrated at losing the opportunity to compete.

UFC Rio proceeded without Walker on the card, headlined by a lightweight showdown between Charles Oliveira and Mateusz Gamrot.
