The last bout on the preliminary card of UFC Vegas 51 couldn’t have ended better.
In the second heavyweight match of the night, Devin Clark faced William Knight.
The fight was an action-packed bout. In the first round, Knight was able to lock in a tight arm-in guillotine that looked like it was gonna make Clark tap.
However, Clark endured the choke and survived. The fight continued closely disputed as the two heavyweights threatened each other with strikes and takedowns.
In the third round, Clark was able to land the finishing blow. After getting dominated with his back against the octagon for most of the round, Clark turned it around and landed a beautiful elbow that stunned his opponent. Devin Clark proceeded with the punishment and landed hard punches that forced the referee to stop the fight.

That win means Clark’s first victory as a heavyweight. The American previously fought at middleweight and light heavyweight during his career. Despite that, he did not look undersized as a heavyweight at all.
