UFC on ESPN+ 63: Chris Gutierrez scores impressive spinning backfist TKO

Chris Gutierrez had one of the rare must see bouts at UFC on ESPN+ 63. UFC on ESPN+ 63 went into tonight with an MMA record consisting of 17 wins 3 losses and 2 draws. He’s currently on a 7 fight win streak.

Danaa had the edge in round 1. Gutierrez was focused on the leg kick strategy while his opponent was head hunting. Gutierrez patience paid off – and he managed to catch Danaa off guard in mid round two. He initially landed an attractive spinning backfist, and he promptly followed that up with ground and pound.

Herb Dean seemed lackluster but had no option but to interfere and call it for ‘El Guapo’ Gutierrez.
